Dear Dancers,

I hope you guys all had a good couple of days off from school. It will be great to see you back in rehearsals starting tomorrow.

As you know we don't do costumes for our first show, instead we focus just on the dance and technique. So instead we all wear the MS Dance Club t-shirt that will be designed by your captains and you wear black bottoms. This means black or nude tights with black dance shorts, black jazz pants or black leggings. Boys this means black basketball shorts or black pants.

You all signed up for a t-shirt size when you signed up for dance. Now I just need you to bring in the money for the t-shirt and our pizza party.

So please bring in $20 in an envelope with your name and grade on it and give it to your  HS choreographer by Friday November 1.

I would like all money in before fall break.

Looking forward to seeing you dance in rehearsals!

Letter to Parents,

Dear Dance Parents,

We are off to a successful start with our after school Middle School Dance Program this semester. All of our dancers have been engaged during rehearsals and they are enjoying learning the technique focused dances choreographed by our High School Dancers.

Our showing will be on Friday December 6th at 4:30pm in the Elementary Theatre.

The week of the show the rehearsal schedule will be:
Tuesday December 3rd, 3:15 to 4:15 - Act 1
Wednesday December 4th, 3:15 to 4:15 - Act 2
Thursday December 5th, 3:15 to 4:15 - Full cast, run through
Here is the link to the show order so you know when your child is required: https://docs.google.com/document/d/13glwJRssA7WbQKBGkXslaocqYhj_FLJb15h6kQYjl8M/edit?usp=sharing

We do not costume our first semester Dance Showing, instead we ask the students to buy and wear their MS Dance Club t-shirt and black dance bottoms. This can consist of black tights/nude tights with black dance shorts, black jazz pants or black leggings. The focus this semester is on the students learning the Dance technique not on the costuming. The big costume show is coming up in second semester.

The students indicated their t-shirt size when they signed up for Dance Club this semester. If you could please send in $20 with your child by November 1st to cover the cost of their t-shirt and their pizza party it would be appreciated. Dancers can give their $20 in an envelope with their name and grade on it to their HS choreographers during rehearsals. I will then collect these from the HS students at the end of each rehearsal.

Thank you for your continued support of our dancers and the Dance Program. I look forward to seeing you all on December 6th.

Please contact me if you have any questions.

Thank you,
Ms. V.
