Thanks for working so hard today!  You did it -- we made it through the whole show!  Please make sure you are taking care of each other (across friendships and across grade levels).  Character is important.Let's go out there tomorrow and have fun!  Please check the board and the slides for instructions. Hi Dancers. Your Extras are due at your Act Rehearsal (Dec 3 or 4). Please check with your parents ASAP and make sure you have plenty of time to shop or order online. I do have some nude tights that can be purchased for 15.00 at the Saturday rehearsal or from my office. Please click 'Turn In" so I know you've seen my reminder.

Music and Reminders

Hi Dancers,

Just a few reminders that you need to be practicing your pieces.  We've also had lots of absences recently, so please make sure you have gotten them approved ahead of time.

For instance, I talked with Ms. Fulcher and Monday was NOT mandatory for the Drama workshop.   Also, we can work with coaches for S2 sports try-outs, as well.

Please look ahead at our rehearsal schedule and make sure you know when you are needed for tech, etc.  We have a FULL Cast Rehearsal on Saturday November 17 from 1-4:00.

Dance Rehearsals Start Monday (Tomorrow)!

Hi Dancers,

If you signed up for a Monday dance,  please change, bring your computer, and come to S129 at 3:15 tomorrow.   We'll have a meeting, get organized, and then you'll go to your rehearsal room with your choreographer/s!

I will put the list up as soon as I get it from CSA.

Like Open and Live - Woo Hoo!

A huge thank you to CSA for fixing our link!

If you already signed up and paid via credit card, CSA will be refunding the over-paid Ballance in the next month.

If you already paid via credit card and want to add dances you can can do another registration and choose the "pay in office" option. We will see you are already in there twice and do not need to make the second payment.

If you haven't registered, don't worry!  Make sure you register before Sunday evening.  We'll put the lists up by 3:00 on Monday.

Sign Up Link Update

Hi Dancers,

The CSA office is working to correct the issue with our link.  It was overcharging those who signed up for more than one dance. The sign up platform had to be rebuilt.  As soon as it is back up and running, I'll let you know and update it on the blog.

Dance Club Semester 1

Dance Club aims to help dancers improve their technical skills, develop relationships, and enhance performance skills. This semester’s show, ‘Emoji - Emotions’, will be a t-shirt show with dance clothes costumes extras.  The cost is SGD 80.00

Rehearsals

• Mandatory rehearsals will run from 3:10-4:20 PM on Mondays, Tuesday, Thursdays, Fridays in S129
• Dancers choose the day/s of the week they dance (one dance per day)
• No audition necessary - everyone is welcome

If you want to challenge yourself, you may audition for:

• Small Group (student choreographed piece)
• Dance Captain (leadership role)
• Advanced Hip Hop, Jazz, Lyrical Ballet, Contemporary

You were amazing!  Thank you for all of your hard work. I hope you rest and catch up on homework this weekend.

I will continue to add photos as they come to me over the next two weeks.  When the video is finished, we'll have a viewing in the Theatre Studio.  I'll keep you posted.

You should be really proud of your performance and the show.

I am so proud of each and everyone of you.  You did it!  One more to go.  Please wear your shirts tomorrow with uniform bottoms.

Tomorrow, we'll meet in the Theatre studio at 4:15 to say thank you to our choreographers and techies.

Lot's of people have been taking photos for us, so I will get them posted as soon as they are given to me.

Stretch, drink lots of water and GET YOUR HOMEWORK DONE ;-)!
