Semester Two Dance Club:
I will put up some information up soon.  We will have to start audition before the musical finishes, but we won't start rehearsals until the Monday after the musical finishes.

It's Showtime!

Hey Dancers, 

I am so excited to see you perform over the next four days! Here are some important reminders..

Thank-You's:

There will be sheets of paper, pens, and envelopes for you to write thank you's to your DP choreographers/directors/assistants/theatre coordinator/theatre engineer/theatre technicians/HS and MS techies in the Theatre Studio (great thing to do while you are waiting for make-up).  Please think long and hard about the people who have helped make this show possible.  Here are some ides to write about:

• something you learned because of you choreographers (as a dancer, student, or choreographer)
• choreography you liked
• a particular part of you choreographers's role in the show
• theatre coordinators - set, logistics, make - up, dance space
• theatre assistants - sound, lights, set, video
• techies and stagecraft - set and odd jobs

Reminders

• Please bring snacks so you are not hungry (you nay not go to the cafe during the dress rehearsal/show). 
• Hair must be up and slicked back
• Make sure you have gel/hair spray, bobby bins, a few hair ties that match your hair color
• No eating in costume

Monday and Tuesday - Dress Rehearsals

*You are responsible for your own warm up

Go directly to the Theatre studio after school to get your costume on and make sure your hair is back.  Please be ready as close to 3:45 so we can get a Cast Picture at  4:00.  We will get a cast picture each day.  As soon as the ECC/ES students finish, we will start our MS/HS Dress Rehearsal.

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday - Performances

*You are responsible for your own warm up

Please head directly to the Theatre Studio to pick up your costume at 3:00  There will be a make-up schedule with specific time slots for characters, so please check and be sure you are on time. Show starts at 4:30.

• You may only miss rehearsals if you are really sick and not at school (or have a prior commitment you have spoken with me about)
• If you are sick/absent, you MUST learn the choreography from another dancer BEFORE the next rehearsal

Costume Payment

I will send out an email reminder...

• Costume payment is due THIS FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 18 to the MS Office, in an envelope with you Full Name, Grade, and Character.
• COST: SGD 120.00 (costumes, accessories, hair products, t-shirt, make-up)
• You may pay by cash or check.  Please make checks out to 'Singapore American School'.
