Dance Club Performance Semester 2
Dance Club Performance aims to help dancers improve their technical and performance skills for success in dance. The semester 2 performance will be a fully costumed, loosely themed show. No audition necessary; however, there will be auditions for advanced pieces to challenge our more technical dancers.
6 dancers may dance in 1 dance*
Grade 7 dancers may dance in 1-2 dances*
Grade 8 dancers may dance in 1-3 dances*
*Depending on availability and the dancer's schedule

Friday, January 17 from 3-4:15 (7th & 8th graders only)
Advanced Lyrical and Advanced Ballet Auditions
Changed to Tuesday, February 18 from 3-4:15 in S129
· 8th Grade Choreographer and Small Group dance Auditions
Wednesday, February 19 from 3-4:15 in S129
· Advanced Jazz and Advanced Hip Hop Auditions
Thursday, February 20 from 3-4:15 (possibly until 6pm, depending on numbers)
Results of advanced dances posted on the MSDC blog page by Monday, January 24 at noon.
· Sign Up Survey Opens Tuesday, February 25 at 3pm
· Sign Up Survey Closes Friday, February 28 at 3pm.
· Dance Lists posted on the Dance Board Friday, March 7
· Rehearsals start the week of March 17 (yes, the week before Spring Break)
· Dance Club will meet Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays (depending on the dancer)
· Mandatory Tech Rehearsal: Saturday, May 3 from 9:00-11:00 am
· Dance Club Shows in the Auditorium:
Thursday, May 8 @ 4:00 pm
Friday, May 9 @ 4:00 pm
