Hi Dancers,

Please check all three days to see which dances you are in this show.  If you don't see your name or you are in a dance you didn't think you asked for - don't panic!  Please come see Mrs. R and we will get it sorted.

You can still join dance club and be added to dances if you missed the sign up!  Just come see Mrs. R.

Semester 1 Dance Club

Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays

3:10-4:20 in S129

Theme: Grammy’s

First Semester's Dance Club will focus on technique and learning choreography (minimal costuming).

Mandatory Info Meeting in S129 Wednesday, September 14 from 3:15-4:00PM

No audition necessary

Each dance practices one day a week

Grade 6 dancers may dance in one dance

Grade 7 dancers may dance in one-two dance/s

Grade 8 dancers  may dance in one-three dance/s

*After sign ups, there may be extra dances to sign up for depending on availability and schedules

If you want to challenge yourself, you may audition for:

Dance Captain Leadership Position - Audition Dates: TBA

Yenny's Advanced Dance (four styles) - Thursday, September 15 from 3:00-4:15PM in S129
Guest Artist Alif’s Hip Hop- Friday, September 16 from 3:00-4:15PM in S129

Thursday, December 1 - Performance starts at 4:30 in the Auditorium

Friday, December 2 - Performance starts at 4:30 in the Auditorium

Please Read - Thank You Information

Hi Dancers,

Congratulations on a great show last night!  Let's have another awesome show today.  

Thank you notes need to be finished to Choreographers, Techies, Officers, and Directors/Supervisors.  I will have instructions in the Make Up room and we will put some paper in the dressing room.   Please be sure to write each of your choreographers a note for each of your dances.  It's really important that they all get a thank you.  They need to be finished by 3:15 today.  Please put them in the envelope for your dance

You can let them know what you liked best about them

You can let them know what you liked about their dance 

You can tell them which part of the choreography was your favorite part

Rest up this morning and I'll see you this afternoon...

Make sure you get a snack to bring with you (NO going to the cafe in your costume or make up)
We will meet on stage after the show for notes and announcements.

Reminders for tomorrow/ Saturday's show:

Come to school at 2:15pm and check your Saturday make-up schedule (it will be different than Friday's schedule)
