SGD 125.00 per dance

*For reference - the Elementary Version 'Happy Feet' was SGD 230.00 for one dance)

• Our SAS Community Sports and Activity Office (CSA) will be collecting payment
• The payment link will be posted on the Dance Club Blog from March 13th 
• Payment options (check made out to Singapore American School and turned into the CSA office or credit card payment online to the CS office)
• Once costume construction begins (measurements), payments may not be refunded and the dancer will still get to keep their costumes

This cost includes:

• GST
• Costumes and accessories (which dancer keeps)
• Production costs
• 7 weeks of technique and choreography
• Make-up and hair products
• T-Shirt

Act I - Tuesday May 2nd from 3-6:00 in the Auditorium

Act II - Wednesday May 3rd from 3-6:00 in the Auditorium

Dress Rehearsal - Thursday May 4th from 3-6:00 in the Auditorium

Performances

Performance I - Friday, May 5th 4:30 pm (dancers are required from 3-6:00pm) in the Auditorium

Performance II - Saturday, May 6th 4:30 pm (dancers are required from 2-6:00pm) in the Auditorium

Grade 6 Dancers - May dance in 1-2 dances

Grade 7 Dancers - May dance in 1-3  dances

Grade 8 Dancers - May dance in 1-4 dances

*Small Group dances, Dance Captain dances, and tap do not count against your numbers

Advanced Dances (Lyrical Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, and Hip Hop)

*Designed for those who have taken technique classes outside of school

Small Group  (6,7,8)

*Student choreographed piece that rehearses twice with Mrs. R that will

be performed in the show

Grade 8 Choreographer

*Designed to allow grade 8 students to create and teach a piece that will

be performed in the show (rehearses one day a week)

Dance Captain

*Designed for those who have a passion for all aspects of dance

(performing, production, and tech) and you give up one day to work

on the show (but gain a dance captain piece with a guest artist and

Mrs. R that will be performed in the show)

Dress Rehearsal and Performance Reminders

Hi Dancers,

I am sooooooo excited for your show this week! Please forward this email to anyone that you thin hasn't received the reminders!  ALL OF THIS IS ON THE BLOG... yes, I am yelling! ;-)

Quick reminders:

• Make sure you have paid 70.00 (you can just give this to meat this point)
• IMPORTANT - Request from Dance Captains- Please bring SGD 5.00 for thank you gift for choreographers/teacher/directors/tech ASAP

Show Order

For tomorrow's dress rehearsal:

• Hair in ponytail slicked back
• You must have and bring all of your extras and Tshirt
• Make sure you eat a good lunch and. Bring a snack (but no eating in dressing rooms)
• 3:00 call to you dressing room
• 3:25 on stage for notes and warm up
• 3:45 run (we will try to run the show twice

Performances:

• 3:00 call to dressing rooms and make up (check the schedule and go to your first dance)
• Hair in ponytail and slicked back
• Warm Up by Grade Level in Dressing room HS Officers and choreographers 4:15
• Performance 4:30
• Remember to set your quick change costumes backstage BEFORE 4:00 (Quick Changes are back to back dances or one in-between)
• No one leaves until everything is picked up
