Dance Club Information and Important Dates

Dance Club Semester 1

Dance Club aims to help dancers improve their technical skills, develop relationships, and enhance performance skills. This semester’s show, ‘Color’, will be minimally costumed.  The cost is SGD 60.00.

Grade 6 dancers may dance in 1-2 dances

Grade 7 dancers may dance in 1-3 dances

Grade 8 dancers may dance in 1-4 dances

*Depending on availability and dancer’s schedule

Rehearsals

• Mandatory rehearsals will run from 3:10-4:20 PM on Mondays, Tuesday, Thursdays, Fridays in S129
• Dancers choose the day/s of the week they dance
• No audition necessary

Dance Club Information Meeting in S129:  Sept 5

Sign Up Survey Opens:  September 18

Dance Lists Posted:  Sunday September 22nd

Rehearsals Start:  Week of September 23rd

Mandatory Tech and Performance Rehearsals

Saturday, November 11 - Full Show Run 10:00PM-12:00PM in the Auditorium

Monday, November 27 - Act I 3:00-6:00 PM in the Auditorium

Tuesday, November 28 - Act II 3:00-6:00 PM in the Auditorium

Wednesday, November 29 - Full Dress Rehearsal from 3:00-6:00PM in the Auditorium

If you want to challenge yourself, you may audition for:

• Small Group (student choreographed piece)
• Dance Captain (leadership role)
• Advanced Technique Dance Audition (for technically trained dancers)
